The Arkansas State League, also known as the Southwestern League was a minor baseball league that operated in Arkansas in 1894.
History
The league was originally composed of Little Hock, Camden, Fort Smith, and Hot Springs1 . Morrilton joined the league when Fort Smith dropped out just before the opening of the league.Miles A. Stone, professor at Little Rock Commercial College, was elected league president and Milton Vaughan secretary-treasurer.
League play began on May 30th and lasted only about a month before the Hot Springs and Camden clubs dropped out, forcing the league to fold.
