Oland Cecil "Lou" Dials , born January 10th, 1904 in Hot Springs, AR,1 was a Negro League baseball player from 1925-1936.
Biography
Dials was the son of Louis Cecil Dials and Nellie (nee French) Dials.2 He was born in Hot Springs, AR but moved to Los Angeles, CA by 1918.3 4
Dials appeared in the 1936 East-West All-Star Game. Later, he became a scout.
Dials died on April 5th, 1994 in Modesto, CA.5

Dials' father, Lewis Cecil Dials, was registered for the World War I Draft in Los Angeles on September 10th, 1918. His wife Nellie is also listed as a resident of Los Angeles.

Lou's brother Ardie Clifton Dials was born in 1908 in Shreveport, LA. It seems likely that the family had already moved away from Hot Springs at that time.
