Biography
Dials was the son of Louis Cecil Dials and Nellie (nee French) Dials.2 He was born in Hot Springs, AR but moved to Los Angeles, CA by 1918.3 4
Dials appeared in the 1936 East-West All-Star Game. Later, he became a scout.
Dials died on April 5th, 1994 in Modesto, CA.5

Lou's brother Ardie Clifton Dials was born in 1908 in Shreveport, LA. It seems likely that the family had already moved away from Hot Springs at that time.
