Oland Cecil "Lou" Dials , born January 10th, 1904 in Hot Springs, AR,1 was a Negro League baseball player from 1925-1936.
Dials was the son of Louis Cecil Dials and Nellie (nee French) Dials.2 He was born in Hot Springs, AR but moved to Los Angeles, CA by 1918.3 4
Dials appeared in the 1936 East-West All-Star Game. Later, he became a scout.
Dials died on April 5th, 1994 in Modesto, CA.5

4 Lou's brother Ardie Clifton Dials was born in 1908 in Shreveport, LA. It seems likely that the family had already moved away from Hot Springs at that time.
