Pizarro Douthett

Harry Pizarro Douthett, born about 1857 in what is now West Virginia, was a professional baseball player and manager.

Douthett was the son of a nailer. He later lived near Pittsburgh, PA and in Wayne County, OH where he attended and played baseball for the University of Wooster. In 1884, he played his first season of professional ball with New Brighton of the Iron and Oil League, and in 1886, with an independent professional Decatur, IL club. When the team disbanded, he and several others from the team joined the Little Rock Baseball Association, finishing the season there.

In 1888, Douthett managed the Houston Babies of the Texas-Southern League. After baseball, he may have became a police officer.
