"Clarksville, Sept 26. - Roy C. Tinsley, aged 50, of Clarksville, a retired baseball player, died Tuesday at a Booneville hospital. He played his last baseball game in the Pacific Coast League in 1953. He was a Methodist and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife and a sister, Mrs. W. C. White of Clarksville. Funeral will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Hardwicke Funeral Chapel by Rev. Bates Sturdy and Rev. David Conyers. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery."5
