Buster Dunlap, born November 29th, 1911 in Farmington, AR, was a semi-pro baseball player. He was the sister of Frances Dunlap.
Biography
Dunlap was the player-manager of the semi-pro Fayetteville Merchants from 1944-1949. He also played with various other semi-pro baseball and basketball teams.

"Buster Dunlap , 88, of Springdale died Sunday at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Nov. 29, 1911, at Farmington, the son of George Francis and Amy Myrtle Brooks Dunlap. He was the past president of the Salvation Army and past president of the Fayetteville Rotary Club. He was a volunteer for NARTI in Springdale. He also managed a semi pro baseball team many years ago. He was a supervisor at Campbell Soup in Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eva Dunlap. Survivors include his wife, Nina Carlisle Dunlap of the home, to whom he was married May 23, 1982; one daughter, Carolyn Yost of Atlanta; one stepson, Kenneth Heckathorn of Portland, Ore.; one stepdaughter, Carolyn Wells of Elm Springs; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Farmington Cemetery in Farmington with the Rev. David Orr officiating."1
