Edwin Harrison Stegall, born April 8th, 1914 in Bolding, AR,1 was a professional baseball player in 1941.

Biography

Stegall played with the House of David baseball team around 1940.2 He also played two games with the minor league El Dorado Oilers in 1941.

Stegall died on October 31st, 1965 in El Dorado, AR,3 and buried in Old Lapile Cemetery in Lapile, AR.4

"Edwin H. Stegall, 51 of 908 Goodwin St., died at his home Sunday morning following an apparent heart attack. Mr Stegall was born April 8, 1914 at Bolding (Union County) and was the son of Ben and Nellie Bolding Stegall. He was a lifelong resident of the county. Mr Stegall was an employee of Colonial Baking Co., and a veteran of World War II. He was also a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his father, Ben Stegall of Lawson, a brother, Wallace Stegall of Lansing, Mich, and two uncles, John T. Bolding ot El Dorado and V. M. Bolding of Dodge City, Kan."5
