Frank Finger

Frank Starks Finger, born September 27th, 1888 in Arkadelphia, AR,1 was a professional baseball player from 1909-1910.

Biography

Finger was Captain and Manager of the Ouachita Baptist baseball team.2

In 1908, Finger played with a semi professional team in Hamburg, Ark. In 1909, he played with Newport and 1910 with Caruthersville, both in the Northeast Arkansas League.

Finger died on September 30th, 1946 and was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Arkadelphia, AR.3

Finger pitched great ball in semi-professional circles for the last two years, and, although several state league clubs were after him last year, he refused to sign up with any of them.
