Fred Fields

Ferdinand "Ferdie" "Fred" Fields, born September 23rd, 18761 in Arkansas,2 was a Negro baseball player and manager with the Hot Springs Arlingtons and the Vapor City Tigers.


Fields was the son of Francis "Fannie" Fields.

Fields played with the Hot Springs Arlingtons3 in 1897.4 Later, he managed the Vapor City Tigers in 1920.5

Fields died on December 13th, 1931.6
