Excerpts

"When Harrison Holt, an 18-year-old friend of Sammy Liberto and also hailing from Fort Smith, Ark., dropped into Little Rock several weeks ago to spend a few days with neighbor Liberto, he played at first base in practice and made such a hit with Manager Prothro that he is being retained by the Travelers. Holt, who was an all-state football 'end with Fort Smith in 1932, stands six feet two inches and weighs 198 pounds. If he is not retained by Little Rock he will be farmed out to a smaller minor league club."4
