Henderson Butler, born December 20th, 1876 in Arkansas,1
was a Negro baseball player with Little Rock Quapaws in 1897.
Biography
Butler was the son of Thomas and Emma Butler.2
Butler was a middle infielder for the Little Rock Quapaws in 1897.3 In three games against the all-white Little Rock Senators minor league team in early September, Butler went 4-14 with two runs scored. He may also have played with the Hot Springs Arlingtons.4
Butler later lived in Hot Springs, AR, where he worked in a bathhouse.5
Butler died on February 18th, 1913 and was buried in Oakland-Fraternal Cemetery in Little Rock, AR.6
