Biography
Williford was captain of the 1921 Jonesboro Stars.5 In 1922, he was recruited to play shortstop with the Little Rock A. B. C.'s late in the first half of the Colored Interstate League.6 He may also have played with the Birmingham Black Barons and Memphis Red Sox in the 1926 Negro Southern League.7
Williford died on May 4th, 1933 in Craighead County, AR.8 He was buried Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR.1
