Leon Cato

Leon Edward Cato, born September 1st, 19201 in Arkansas2 was a professional baseball player from 1940-1950. He was the brother of Morley Cato and Travis Cato and the cousin of Fred Cato and Louis Cato.


Cato grew up near Greenbrier, AR.

In 1947 with Borger, TX, Cato hit .410 with 32 homeruns.

Cato died on September 14th, 1978 and was buried in Glenfield Memorial Park in New Albany, MS3
