Charley Lightner

Charles Lightner, born July 17th, 1892 in Atkins, AR,1 was a Negro League baseball player.


Lightner was the son of Frank and Bell Lightner.2 He moved to Muskogee, OK by about 1905.3 He appears to have played professionally with the Dallas Black Giants in 1916.4 Later, in 1920, he appeared with the Kansas City Monarchs.

Lightner died in September, 1967 in Chicago, IL.5
