
Biography
Coyle tried out for the baseball team at Ouachita Baptist College and was found to be a good hitter. To strengthen his defense, his younger brother Norman worked with him for hours on end.
Coyle was manager of the 1909 Hot Springs Vaporites. He gained considerable popularity during his time playing for Fort Worth in Texas league. He lived much of his post-baseball life in Idabel, OK where he worked as a farmer. He died there on September 5th, 1960 and was buried in Denison Cemetery.
