Lee Rogers

"Lee Rogers, the big right-handed pitcher who went to Piney Woods from Hot Springs, Ark., takes his duties on the mound with ease. He has a very good curve that keeps the opponents hitting in space."3

" . . . big Lee Rogers, Little Rock, Ark., who towers 6 feet 3 inches, weighing 230 pounds, have been very impressive. Rogers promises to be one of the mainstays of the team [Memphis Red Sox]."4
