
Biography
Elmer Honea's only season of professional baseball was with the Fayetteville Bears in the 1936 Arkansas-Missouri League. In his very first professional at-bat, Honea hit a grandslam3 . He went on to hit 20 homeruns that season, third best in the league.
Honea graduated from the University of Arkansas. He died on March 1st, 1985 in Fayetteville, AR4 and was buried in Weddington Cemetery in Weddington, AR5 .
