"RUSSELLVILLE, Ark., June 14 — Baseball fans saw an exciting game from start to finish, Thursday, when the Ft. Smith Goldman Hotel Grays met the Russellville Sluggers on Buerkle Field. It was a pitcher's duel between Shepperd for the Grays and Atchison for the Sluggers. Atchison allowed the visitors three runs, while Shepperd allowed the Sluggers four, making the tally 4-3."18
