Jimmy Froley

James Edward Froley, born May 4th, 1906 in Caddo Gap, AR,1 was a professional baseball player from 1928-1929.

Biography

Froley was a teammate of BIll Dickey on the Little Rock College High School baseball team.2 Later, Froley helped Dickey earn a position playing semi-pro baseball in Hot Springs, AR, which led Dickey to be discovered by scouts and sign a professional baseball contract.3

Froley died in February, 1963.4 He was buried in Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock, AR.5
