Ken Kavanaugh

Kenneth William Kavanaugh, born November 23rd, 1916 in Little Rock, AR, was a professional baseball player in 1940.


Kavanaugh played eight seasons of professional football with the Chicago Bears.


"Ken Kavanaugh, listed as a first baseman-outfielder, has decided to pass up pro ball. Included on the roster of the Houston Texas League Buffs, Kavanaugh notified President Fred Ankenman he was attending Louisiana State University and would work on his degree. Ken is a former L.S.U. football star and played professionally on the grid last fall after diamond service with Kilgore in the East Texas League."1
