"Russellville - Paul I. Fiser, 70, of Russellville, retired food service manager at Arkansas Tech University, died Sunday. Mr. Fiser was a graduate of Arkansas College at Batesville, where he played football and baseball for two years after graduating. He coached at Harding College when it was at Morrilton and at Danville and Batesville High Schools before becoming National Youth Administration personnel officer at Russellville. He joined the staff of Arkansas Tech as a physical education instructor and was later appointed food service manager for the school. Mr. Fiser received the Distinguished Service Award for 30 years of service at the school. He was a former steward of the First Methodist Church and was a Mason. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alive Martin Fiser; a son, Dr. Paul Martin Fiser of Durham, N.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Ann Munson and Mrs. Susan Taylor, both of Little Rock; a brother, Poindexter Fiser of North Little Rock; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Eggensperger of Conway and Mrs. Reiff White of Morrilton, and five grandchildren. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at Russellville by Shinn Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or a scholarship fund at Arkansas Tech."3
