Trammell's WWI Draft Card. Registered in Davenport, IA. Trammell's daughter was born in Davenport in 1917, per Iowa County Birth Index.
2
Trammell's Texas Death Certificate. gives his birthplace as "Baxter County, OK." The 1900 U.S. Census, the 1910 U.S. Census and 1920 U.S. Census each list Trammell's birthplace as Arkansas. The 1880 Census shows Trammell's father Erastus Trammell living in Baxter County, AR. Hence, it is presumable that Trammell's death certificate was erroneous and should have placed his birth in Baxter County, AR rather than Oklahoma.
