Shorty Berthold

Fred1 Emil J. "Shorty" Berthold, born July 10th, 1871 in Missouri2 or Illinois3 , was a professional baseball player from 1892-1898. Berthold lived in Pine Bluff, AR circa 1889-1894.

Berthold married Lillie Dellmon at Pine Bluff, AR on March 23rd, 18935

Berthold played with the Van Buren Browns from 1891-1893, Pine Bluff in 1894, Little Rock Rose Buds and Marshall, TX in 1895, Paris, TX in 1896, Texarkana in 1897, and Shreveport in 1898.

Berthold died on May 6th, 1860 in Los Angeles, CA6 .
