Vincent Plumbo

"Crawfordsville - Vincent G. Plumbo , 82, retired professional baseball player, died Friday at his home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis has charge. In 1942, Mr. Plumbo played on the conference-winning baseball team at St. John's University in Collegeville, Minn. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Michael's Catholic Church. He leaves a daughter, Anntonia Magruder of West Memphis; a sister, Margaret Achman, and a brother, Raymond Plumbo , both of St. Paul, Minn., and two grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Crittenden Memorial Hospital Foundation in West Memphis."4
