"Funeral services for Wilford B. "Kib" Cunningham , 76, of Paragould who died Sunday, July 1, will be at 2 p.m. today at Heath Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Toombs, the Rev. Earl McKelvey and Larry McFadden officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens at Paragould. Heath Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Derek Carter, Dane Cunningham , Ron Wamble, Eddie Russom, Keith Metheny and Jerry Edwards. Visitation will be from 11:45 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Born at Beech Grove, he was a farmer and played professional baseball with the Washington Senators farm system for five years and was of the Church of Christ belief. Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean Cunningham of Paragould; one son, Ted Cunningham of Paragould; one daughter, Claudia Scheer of Heber Springs; one brother, Frank Cunningham of Powhatan; and three grandchildren."3
