Herbert Wilson Kell, born December 9th, 1925 in Imboden, AR, was a professional baseball player from 1948-1949. He was the uncle of George Kell and Skeeter Kell.1

"Russellville, Ark. (AP) --An uncle of the Detroit Tigers' George Kell said here yesterday he had signed a contract with the Boston Red Sox. He is Wilson Kell of Imboden, Ark., a shortstop for the Arkansas Tech College baseball team until his graduation this spring. Kell said he was signed by Red Sox scout E. L. Haskell, who also is athletic director of the University of Oklahoma. He did not disclose the terms of the contract. Kell batted .687 in 13 games for Tech this spring."2
