Biography

Rossi played for the Little Rock Doughboys.

Rossi died on October 2nd, 2015 in Kalamazoo, MI and was buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery there.1

"ROSSI , Edward V. Kalamazoo Age 93, died on October 2, 2015 at his home. He was born January 1, 1922 in Center Ridge, AR, the son of Frank and Mary (Paladino) Rossi . He was an Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII and owned and operated Rossi State Farm Insurance Agency for 40 years. Ed was preceded in death by 3 siblings: Louise Crews, Lucille Conway and Charles Rossi . Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Jean Rossi ; 5 children: Mary (Bruce) Livingston, Thomas (Conni) Rossi , Nancy (Wendell) Trantham, David (Gitte) Rossi and Susan (Greg) McGrail; grandchildren: Heather (Eddie) Diaz, Jay Livingston, RaNae (Chris) Reed, Ross (Sarah) Trantham, Rylee Trantham (Ryan Koole), Tyler and Amanda McGrail, and Peter and Thomas Rossi ; great-grandchildren: Jacob Diaz, Charlie and Samuel Trantham and Sienna Yates-Livingston; siblings: Gloria DeSalvo, Rev. Raymond Rossi and Marion Rossi and many nieces and nephews. Visit with family and friends while sharing food and refreshments on Monday from 5 8 PM at the Life Story Funeral Home, Betzler-Kalamazoo, 6080 Stadium Drive, Kalamazoo 375-2900. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 11 AM at St. Monica Catholic Church. A luncheon will follow in the Life Story Center. Private burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
