Little Rock Stars (1933)

The Little Rock Stars was a Negro league baseball team based in Little Rock, AR that competed in the 1933 Negro Southern League. Home games were played at Crump Park in Little Rock.

History

In 1933, the Little Rock Stars joined the Negro Southern League in the place of the Little Rock Grays, which had played in the league during the 1931 and 1932 seasons.1 Between late April and July, the Stars played a steady first half schedule of games and performed fairly well. Due to difficulties within the league, the second half schedule was played much more loosely. The Stars did not return to the Negro Southern League for the 1934 season.
